چکیده
This paper discusses the design and implementation of a series of system-wide simulation upgrades made to the Vehicle Systems and Control Laboratory in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. The simulation system consists of a PCbased distributed simulation network comprised of a fixed-base full cockpit simulator and three additional pilot-based simulation stations. Modifications are made to the overall software architecture and the underlying software subsystems to increase the adaptability and flexibility of the simulation facility in an engineering environment.

A New Hybrid Algorithm to Optimize Stochastic-fuzzy Capacitated Multi-Facility Location-allocation Problem
Facility location-allocation models are used in a widespread variety of applications to determine the number of required facility along with the relevant allocation process. In this paper, a new mathematical model for the capacitated multi-facility location-allocation problem with probabilistic customer's locations and fuzzy customer’s demands under the Hurwicz criterion is proposed. Thi...

The Air Operations Division (AOD) of the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) has developed a range of simulation tools for Air Combat modelling. Two of these, the Air Operations Simulation Centre (AOSC) (which provides a facility for Human-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulation), and the BattleModel (which provides intelligent Computer Generated Forces (CGFs)), are currently being integrat...

This study aims to investigate the different management policies of multi-reservoir systems and their impact on the demand supply and hydropower generation in Great Karun River basin. For this purpose, the semi-distributed simulation-optimization model of the Great Karun River basin is developed. Also, the multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to optimize the develop...
متن کاملSimulation Modeling and Analysis of In-Flight Service Operations for Commercial Passenger Flights
Nowadays, in-flight comfort has become an essential characteristic to survive in domestic airline businesses. Air hostesses’ quality of service and response time to customer demand plays a vital role in enhancing quality of the flight experience and passenger satisfaction. However, additional requirements on air hostess expose them to fatigue which could eventually result in job dissatisfac...
متن کاملRapid prototyping flight test environment for autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles
Test facility is essential for most of engineering research activities, from modeling and identification to verification of algorithms/methods and final demonstration. It is well known that flight tests for aerospace vehicles are expensive and quite risky. To overcome this, this paper describes a rapid prototyping platform for autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) developed at Loughborough ...
